In 2017, we worked with the municipality of Rotterdam on creating Happy Streets uses urban experiments to trial more inclusive and sustainable mobility concepts.

As part of these actions, we've worked together with residents and entrepreneurs. The goal was to reimagine the future of mobility in their streets. In a couple of streets in Rotterdam, we applied temporary bike lanes and monitored the effects of the interventions on safety and overall satisfaction.

The lane in West-Kruiskade street was later turned into a permeant bicycle lane.
